Where is Sew Fab located?

Sew Fab is located just outside of Hillcrest, Hamilton, New Zealand. The exact address will be provided on confirmation of your course or workshop.

What sort of sewing machine will I use at a Sew Fab workshop or course?

All our sewing machines are FS60X Extra Tough Brother Machines. There is also a selection of overlockers (Janome and Bernina) available to be used.

Can I bring my own sewing machine?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! You are more than welcome to bring your own sewing machine to use. This is often a good way to get to know your machine.

What equipment and materials will I need to bring?

Question 5

Will I get a refund if I can't attend all of the classes in the course?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately no refunds are given for classes missed as classes are pre planned and resources are purchased.

The course I want to attend is already full.

Send us an email at jenny@sewfab.co.nz telling us which class you would like to attend and we'll pop you on the waiting list for the next available class.

Question 7

What age do I need to be to attend a class?

The adult classes are for anyone over the age of 18yrs old. Classes for other age groups are stated in the workshops and courses details.

Question 8

I have booked a class or workshop and I can no longer attend.  Do you offer a refund?

Accepted Answer

Refunds will be offered if the cancellation is made more than four weeks before the start of the workshop or course.
